1:30 P.M. Planning Meeting. The committee that is planning the Twentieth Annniversary celebration of S/D will meet for brunch at at 2525 W. Main Street Cafe.

7:00 P.M. Ballroom Dancing Dance with the USABDA regulars until 9:30 P.M. at The Dance Space. Wear lightweight shoes that glide. $5 for USBDA members; $7 for nonmembers. 6004 West Broad Street.

11:00 A.M. Labor Day Picnic. Join us for a day of fun and frolicking at Roslyn Retreat Center on River Road, one-quarter mile east of the intersection with parham. We willeat at Noon and then suim, play volleyball, play board games, or go for a walk. Bring your own food to grill and a dish to share. Charcoal, condiments, drinks, and paper products will be provided. $3 members; $4 others.

8:00 P.M. Discovery Meeting. Tonight's topic is work in keeping with Labor Day. What do we look for in our jobs? What ideas do we have for making work better for all? At the Roslyn Retreat Center on River Road one-quarter mile east of the intersection with Parham. Doors open at 7:30 P.M. $3 members; $4 others.

8:00 P.M. Contra Dancing at TADAMS at Ginter Park Recreation Center located at the corner of Walton and Hawthorne, one block southeast of Laburnum and Chamberlayne Avenues. Join the Traditional American Dance and Music Society to enjoy contra dancing. Dance Workshop for beginners at 7:00 P.M., followed by dancing at 8:00 P.M. You do not need to know how to contra dance. Admission is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.

6:00 P.M. Twentieth Anniversary Party. Come and bring a single friend and invite past members and spouses to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of S/D in Richmond. At the First Unitarian Church at 1000 Blanton Avenue. We begin with a thirty-minute social time then a potluck dinner at 6:30. Bring a dish to share. Soda and paper goods will be provided, and beer and wine will be available at a cash bar. A brief review of the history of S/D will follow and then we will dance to recorded music from 8:00 to 10:30. Cost $5.
