7-9P.M. Discovery The Discussion Topic is "What do the different seasons mean to you?". We will meet at Regency Mall Food Court, located at the north end of the mall, off Starling Drive. No Admission. Buy your own snack/dinner from the food court when you arrive and then join us in the private dining room by the entrance. 12:00P.M. National Folk Festival Located at Between 2nd and 9th Streets from Byrd St to the r. iver. Come on down to the FREE 69th National Folk Festival. This will be the 3rd and final year it will be in Richmond. There's a great lineup of music from bluegrass to world music, all authentic roots music. Demonstrations of instument making and music lessons and other hand made products. Great food and "stuff" for sale. I plan to be there at 1:00 p.m. Parking in nearby lots is $5.00 or take a free shuttle from the Diamond or Cloverleaf Mall. Contact me and we'll arrange a place to meet. The play is a hilarious new comedy about two English actors who find themselves down on their luck. When they hear that an old lady in is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her nephews to get the cash. The trouble begins when they find out that the relatives aren't nephews, but nieces. Romantic entanglements abound when one falls head-over-petticoat in love with the old lady's vivacious niece, who's engaged to the local minister. 11:00A.M. Apples & Color Join me for a day trip to the Charlottesville Area to buy freshly picked apples and freshly pressed cider. Then we will take a drive to look at the fall colors and maybe visit a few wineries and sample the pressed grapes. Then we will look for a place for a late lunch.
