7:30 P.M. Dance We are rescheduling the Dance co-sponsored by SD & Phoenix that was cancelled by Isabel at Roslyn Center Pavilion, 8727 River Road (one quarter mile east of Parham). Join us from 7:30-10:30 and dance to tunes spun by DJ Bob Massengil. Bring along your favorite dancing CD's.  Since it might be a little chilly, dress casual and warm.  If you have some extra firewood bring it with you.  Beer and Wine for sale. $4 members: $6 others. 1:45 PM  Carter Mt Orchard & Schnitzelhouse Meet at the Commuter Lot (Parham & Fordson - 2 blocks south of I-64) at 1:45.  Carpool to the Orchard in Batesville to buy apples, cider and baked goodies then head on to the restaurant in Charlottesville for German/Swiss cuisine.  RSVP's appreciated by Email early   to set up carpools

Ashland Berry Farm TERROR AT THE FARM  Ashland Berry Farms is offering three Halloween events this year.  BOOger Woods ( Hayride and Haunted Woods), Grimwood Manor (interactive theatrical Halloween experience) and Haunted Carnival.  All events start at 7:00 PM, we will meet at the farm at 6:30pm on Friday the 10th.  The cost for the the events is from $8-$12 each or a discount for 2 events. 2:00 P.M. Hollywood Cemetery Meet at Albemarle and Cherry in Oregon Hill. Two hour walking tour explores this lovely historic cemetery park with discussions of the landscape design, art and architecture, monument styles, and biographies of the notable tenants. $7 walk up or $6 in advance by calling the Valentine Museum, 649-0711.
