8:00 P.M. Discovery Meeting.We are told that the only constant is change. How do we adapt to change? What changes are easy to make? Difficcult? Are things changing too fast for humanity? 8:00 Zydeco Dance. Join Diane and the Creole Arts devotees for some Louisiana-style dancing to the music of Leroy Thomas & the Zydeco Road Runners. At the Boulevard Deli Cafe at 5218 W. Broad, one block west of Willow Lawn. Dance lessons at 7:00. $7 Admission.

9:00 A.M. Flea Market Shopping Spree. Meet Kathy in fromt of St. Joseph's Flea Market and Yard Sale at the intersection of Book and Parham Roads. Parking at Wal-Mart or at the Bank of America on Villa Park Drive (shuttle service to St. Joseph's). Rain date is Saturday, October 19. Dinner later (see next event).

5:00 P.M. Hening's Crab House. Join the Flea Market shoppers and others for dinner at 1417 East Ridge Road, across from Ridge Cinemas. Look for coupons in the Valpak Savings monthly.

8:00 P.M. Contra Dancing at TADAMS at Ginter Park Recreation Center located at the corner of Walton and Hawthorne, one block southeast of Laburnum and Chamberlayne Avenues. Join the Traditional American Dance and Music Society to enjoy contra dancing. Dance Workshop for beginners at 7:00 P.M., followed by dancing at 8:00 P.M. You do not need to know how to contra dance. Admission is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.

We will carpool to the Orchard in Batesville to buy apples, cider and baked goodies then head on to the Schnitzel House Restaurant in Charlottesville for German/Swiss cuisine at 5:00 P.M.
