7:00 P.M. Council Meeting. To add items to the agenda leave a message on the Solo/Discovery Information Line, 257.0020. Arrive at 6:30 if you plan to eat at Aunt Sarah's Pancake House, 7927 W. Broad (between Parham and Hungary Springs).  We decided to try another location and have reserved their meeting room. (see map Color or Black&White)

3:00 P.M. Richmond Philharmonic Concert Located at 922 Park Ave VCU Singleton Ctr. Admission is by donation. Meet me in the lobby at 2:30 pm to get good seats. There will be a preconcert talk at 3:00 pm and the concert starts at 4:00. If you'd like to come only for the concert, let me know and I will try to save a seat for you. The orchestra will play music by Haydn, Bernstein, Strauss and Tchaikovsky so won't be "heavy" classical music. We can have supper before the band starts at 8:00. Cover charge is $8.00. This D.C. band plays New Orleans jazz, rock, blues and roots music. You can meet me there, if you like.
