Two hour walking tour explores this lovely historic cemetery park with discussions of the landscape design, art & architecture, monument styles and biographies of the notable tenants. 7:30 P.M. Discovery Dance. We are co-sponsoring this Dance with Phoenix Singles at Roslyn Center Pavilion, 8727 River Road, 1/2 mile east of Parham. This dance is for all singles, even those who are not members. Put on your dancing shoes from 7:30-10:30 and dance to tunes spun by DJ Bob Massesngill. Dress is casual. Beer & wine for sale. White Water Rafting on the James Join me and members of Phoenix for an all day trip of White Water Rafting (www.richmondraft.com). Cost is $60 which includes lunch. Kids age 12 and above are welcome. So far we have 21 Phoenix members signed up and we're looking forward to a fun day! Cost is $60, which includes lunch, and I have to have the money no later than Friday, June 6th. We'll meet at 8:45 AM at 4400 East Main St. which is close to the landing site of the Annabelle Lee. Cars will be left there and we are shuttled to the launching site near Pony Pasture, we'll exit the river by our cars. E-mail me to let me know you're coming or with questions.
