8:00 P.M. Discovery Meeting. Where do you feel most connected to U.S. history? What makes you feel loyal to the U.S.? Can you trace your ancestral roots? Tonight's discussion will focus on these questions as we celebrate the birth of this country. At the Roslyn Retreat Center on River Road one-quarter mile east of the intersection with Parham. Doors open at 7:30 P.M. $3 members; $4 others.

5:30 P.M. O'Charley's. Join us at Mayland and Gaskins in the West End for dinner.

8:00 P.M. Contra Dancing at TADAMS at Ginter Park Recreation Center located at the corner of Walton and Hawthorne, one block southeast of Laburnum and Chamberlayne Avenues. Join the Traditional American Dance and Music Society to enjoy contra dancing. Dance Workshop for beginners at 7:00 P.M., followed by dancing at 8:00 P.M. You do not need to know how to contra dance. Admission is $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.
