5-9P.M. French Film Festival Meet me at the Byrd Theater at 2908 W. Cary Street at 4:30 to see the first two movies of the festival. All movies have English subtitles. At 5pm the movie Brodeuses is about a pregnant teen who takes refuge with an embroiderer for haute couture des signers and the bond that develops between the women. At 7pm the movie Marriages is about three different marriages: one couple on their wedding day, another after 10 years together, & another who have been fighting for 10 years and are attempting to reconcile their differences. Tickets are $8 per movie and can be purchased 1/2 hour before the movie starts or buy a pass for the whole festival (Fri-Sun) for $60 by calling 827-FILM or frenchfilm@vcu.edu.
